(nov 29) NMA Philadelphia 1987: the You Tubes

So as mentioned on every Music of the Last Century, I set out in the summer of 2019 to create a 12 part series for radio about the 12 New Music America festivals and in the process of putting them together, discovered more than 3000 you tube videos that were directly related to the festival (works performed, and in rare but joyful cases, actual videos of the performances), or tangential (videos about the people who participated but not related to the festival itself)… and this is my current list of videos relating to the NMA Philadelphia 1987 festival.

I’ve just unlocked the rest of the Philadelphia daily posts, so I intend to keep those paywall free in perpetuity (or something like that) so they can be shared - for those who don’t wish to give up an email address for subscription purposes, they can just bypass the cover page and go to the link.
