New stuff on works by Jerry Hunt (short interview), Ellen Zweig and the unforgettable Stelarc who in this case is definitely a genuine human installation, and also the Scribing Sounds 2 exhibit.

New Music America Houston 1986 installations

I had forgotten to add this to the official posts pertaining to the New Music America 1986 festival in Houston (all still without a paywall, substacks beginning on April 5, 2023) or go to a page index in the Big Index I posted a month ago on February 4, 2025.

Also, for the purposes of inclusion, Stelarc is considered a “human installation” since he was fixed to a ceiling when performing above us. Scroll below and that sentence will become more clear.
