(gd note: a previous version of this page had information on Paul Lansky but it turns out that his birthday is actually June 18 not January 18, so that’s where you’ll find his little tribute!)

Linda Montano 1944 Saugerties, NY

I would later meet Linda Montano briefly when she did her individual Casio Portraits during the 1987 festival, but it just happened that I realized I had met her when finding this memory - not only of the work Rope Piece that she took part in for a year, but the memory of me seeing the two of them quietly going through the bins at the Manhattan Tower Records outlet! (Thinking, oh, this kind of thing must happen all the time in NYC…)
